First Savvy Church of Christ
A Jesus-centered, youth-focused, biblically accurate church
opening soon in Ft. Thomas, Kentucky.
“Do you indeed decree what is right, you gods?
Do you judge the children of man uprightly?”
Psalm 58:1
In Psalm 58, “gods” refers to human leaders who exercise authority in God's name,
and whom God holds accountable for judging rightly.

Why First Savvy Church of Christ exists
An honest faith that forms real lives
We take kids seriously.
Which means we take passing on faith seriously.
That requires being honest about what Scripture actually says,
what it doesn’t, and why so many well-meaning churches are giving kids answers that don’t last.
Kids know when answers don’t hold up
and when they don’t, kids walk away.
Look around your church.
Nearly two-thirds of the kids you see today
will not be part of the church as adults.
If you’ve ever wondered whether there’s more to following Jesus
than what you’ve been handed,
there is.
First Savvy Church of Christ exists because that question matters—
and kids are the ones paying the price when it’s ignored.
What Makes FSCC Different
JYB Kids club is not an add-on to this church.
This church was built around kids from day one.
Scripture taught honestly, not safely.
Kids engaged as thinkers, not managed as attendees.
Jesus centered, not church culture centered.
FSCC is a shared learning environment
where kids are taken seriously,
adults are challenged to grow,
and clarity matters more than religious jargon.

Built With Kids in Mind
From the very beginning, FSCC was designed around kids—not as an afterthought, but as a starting point.
JYB Kids is a place where curiosity is welcomed, questions are taken seriously, and learning about Jesus is both thoughtful and engaging.
Parents are always welcome to observe.
No pressure. No performance. Just honest growth.
What You Can Expect When You Visit
A gathering that is thoughtful but not stiff.
Teaching that is interesting, approachable and transformative.
Kids who are engaged, not shuffled off or ignored.
Adults who are learning too.
You won’t be singled out.
You won’t be asked to pretend.
You won’t be rushed into anything.
Just honest worship, serious Scripture, and space to grow.

Serious About Scripture
We read the Bible carefully and honestly.
We recognize it as inspired by God and written by human authors within real historical and literary contexts.
We study it together, seeking not just information, but transformation as we follow Jesus.

The Bible is not simple.
A real relationship with Jesus is not easy.
But both become more honest, more joyful, and far more life-changing when they are lived and learned together.
